Before you install your new squirt

1   Pull the spout and set  timing to 10 degs and leave the spout out .  Most setups will not reinstall the spout ever.  You will need to rest the timing after you set up direct coil control.

2   Pull the Idle Air Control plug and set  your idle to 1000RPM's then plug it back in.  You will have to reset idle after you get your idle area VE tuned. Slowly lower your idle as you adjust VE. 

3   If you have a adjustable regulator set base fuel pressure to 40psi with vacuum line removed.  Be sure to reinstall vacuum line after you set pressure.

Squirt Vacuum LIne 

There is a vacuum line coming out of the mega squirt it needs to be connected to a good Vacuum source. Make sure you do not kink the Vacuum hose. The vacuum line feeds the map sensor that is inside of the case.

Wide Band Connection 

Wide Band O2 connects to the WHITE or GRAY wire coming out of the squirt.  The new squirt use pin 29 witch is the stock O2 sensor wire.

To set up direct coil control:

1. Unplug the harness from the TFI. 

2. Remove the red strip that is in the end of the harness plug.  To do so, take a screwdriver and gently pry it out. 

3. Remove the wire from pin 2. 

4. Reinstall the red strip in the plug and plug the harness back into the TFI. 

5. Connect the wire you removed from the TFI plug to the computer side of the spout.

6. Reset the timing so it matches what is displayed in tuner studio. 

Wiring up your options:

1  Black wire is 2 step.   12v positive to activate

2  Yellow wire is boost control.   The squirt supplies ground for boost solenoid.

3  Green wire is shift light.   The squirt supplies ground for relay.

4  Red wire is fan control.   The squirt supplies ground for fan relay.

5   Purple wire is nitrous activation.  12v positive will activate.

5A  Green wire is nitrous first stage.  The squirt supplies ground for nitrous relay.
